The longitudinal seam welder, or often called as the "seamer" is one of the most commonly used fixtures to weld thin guage tubes, cylinders, cones, flat sheets and open ended boxes when weld seam quality is critical. The principle is to apply chilling tool to absorb and dissipate heat through the use of copper fingers under pressure in the weld zone,

1. Enable perfect edge alignment to be done in a short time without difficulty.
2. Eliminate the need of tack welding, reduce defects that are often found in the tackwelds.
3. Produces a butt weld free of melt-outs, burn backs, serious shrinkage or distortion.
4. Flexible design to operate in conjunction with various accessories and weld gears to handle all weldable materials in different wall thicknesses.
